NESAC participated in the 43rd INCA International Congress – 2023 on “Emerging Trends in Digital Cartography for Sustainable Ecosystems and Geospatial Economy” at RRSC West, Jodhpur, Rajasthan, during November 6-8, 2023. The event was organized by the Indian National Cartographic Association and drew participants from various prominent organizations across the country.
NESAC participated in the exhibition and showcased its activities, attracting a diverse and enthusiastic audience. Vice Admiral Adhir Arora, AVSM, NM who was the Guest of Honour during the inaugural program , visited the NESAC exhibition stall with other distinguished dignitaries from various organizations and interacted with NESAC team members. Dr. Dhruval Bhavsar and Shri Himangshu Jyoti Das participated and represented NESAC during the event. Director, NESAC participated as a keynote speaker in the panel discussion on “Roadmap for Strengthening Geospatial Ecosystem for National Development.” He shared insights on the necessity of data continuity and frequency, highlighting NESAC’s activities in fulfilling data requirements from different line departments of the north eastern states.
