In compliance with the Department of Space (DOS) guidelines, NESAC organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on 07 October, 2025 in collaboration with the Regional Blood Centre, Pasteur Institute, Shillong at Multi-purpose Hall, NESAC Residential Complex, Umiam.
The campaign was held under the slogan “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives.” The program aimed to promote awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and to encourage NESAC personnel to contribute towards this noble cause.
A total of 28 volunteers, comprising NESAC employees, CISF personnel, Research Scholars and outsourced employees, came forward to participate in the camp. After preliminary medical screening conducted by the medical team from Pasteur Institute, 20 donors were found eligible and successfully donated blood.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation and reflected the spirit of compassion, social responsibility, and community service among the NESAC fraternity. The medical team appreciated the arrangements made and commended the donors for their valuable contribution towards saving lives.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the medical team from Pasteur Institute, Shillong, and to all the volunteers who made the blood donation camp a success.
