NESAC observed Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) on 26 November 2025, commemorating the 76th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of India with active participation of NESAC officers and staff members. The observance was held at the NESAC Auditorium, Umiam.
The event commenced with the solemn reading of the Preamble to the Constitution of India, administered by Shri Avaneesh Shukla, Controller of Administration, NESAC, who led the gathering in reaffirming the fundamental values enshrined in the Constitution.
Following the Preamble reading, Shri Avaneesh Shukla delivered an enlightening lecture on the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman.” His address highlighted the historical significance and evolution of the Constitution of India, the pivotal role of citizens in upholding constitutional values and the responsibilities associated with constitutional rights and duties. The lecture provided valuable insights into the spirit of the Constitution and its continued relevance to India’s democratic framework.
In alignment with the nationwide observance, NESAC employees were also encouraged to participate in the National Online Quiz on Constitution Day, hosted on the MyGov platform, to further enhance awareness and understanding of constitutional principles.
NESAC observed Samvidhan Diwas with enthusiasm and collective commitment, reaffirming its dedication to the constitutional ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. The event served as a reminder of NESAC’s commitment to promoting constitutional values and fostering a deeper appreciation of India’s democratic ethos among its staff members.
