The 5th edition of the online Course on Satellite Communication & Satellite Navigation: Technologies & Applications was conducted at NESAC during November 10th-14th,2025 via Online mode. A total of 156 participants registered for the course mainly from NITs and other Engineering Colleges. A total of 20 lectures were delivered by Scientists of Satcom and UAV Division (SUD), NESAC as well as thematic experts from Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, Satcom & Satnav Program Office (SCN-PO), ISRO HQ. The course covered topics like Basics of Satellite Communication & Navigation, Ground Station, RF, Baseband technologies, and applications of SATCOM & SATNAV with special emphasis to High Throughput Satellites (HTS) for Internet Services, Mobile Satellite Services (MSS) applications for Disaster Management & NaVIC Applications. The Course was inaugurated in presence of Shri Himanshu Kumar, Deputy Director, Frequency Management, SCN-PO, ISRO HQ. Sri Anjan Debnath, Scientist-SF, SUD, NESAC served as the Course Officer while Shri Ramani K. Das, Head, SUD, NESAC was the Course Director for the weeklong online Course.
