One-week special training course on UAV Technology & Applications was conducted by during 10-14 Aug, 2026. for the officials of Remote Sensing Applications Centre, Uttar Pradesh. The course covered understanding of the UAVs and its components, flight planning for data acquisitions for various remote sensing applications, 3D printing & its application in UAV, different data processing techniques e.g. generation of orthomosaic, digital surface model (DEM), digital terrain model (DTM), contour maps, volumetric analysisetc. for high-resolution UAV data processing using Pix4D mapper pro and Agisoft photoscan pro softwares. The course also covered advanced topics on UAV based multispectral/hyperspectral sensors, Application of Artificial Intelligence for UAV remote sensing, DGCA rules etc.
