A Hindi workshop was organized at NESAC on Aug 26, 2025. Shri Ajay Kumar Prasad, Assistant General Manager (Official Language), Reserve Bank of India, Shillong conducted the Hindi workshop as the Chief Guest.The topic of this quarterly workshop was “Training on IT Tools helpful in working in Hindi on Computer and Kanthastha 2.0”. The workshop commenced with a welcome address by the Junior Translation Officer in which she introduced and welcomed the Chief Guest. Dr. S.P. Agarwal, Director, NESAC welcomed the chief guest in a traditional manner and gave the opening remarks. Director, NESAC highlighted the importance of IT tools and Kanthastha app in the use of official language in Government offices. The workshop was conducted in two sessions. In the first session, training was given on Kanthastha 2.0. In the second session, training was imparted on IT tools that are helpful in working in Hindi on the computer. All the employees took keen interest in the workshop and put forwarded their views and questions. A total of 17 personnel including 12 officers and 5 employees participated in the workshop. The workshop was concluded with vote of thanks by Administrative Officer, NESAC.
