NESAC celebrated the 79th Independence Day of the Nation in an eventful manner on 15th August, 2025. The National Flag was hoisted by Director, NESAC at 09:00 am at NESAC office campus followed by singing of the National Anthem. CISF unit, NESAC presented a Guard of Honour to Director, NESAC, which was followed by the address of Director, NESAC, where he highlighted the notable achievements of the Nation as well as NESAC during the last year and urged NESAC community to follow the directions given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of the Country.. He commended the multitude of works being done by NESAC staff in various domain utilizing new & emerging techniques and wished that scientists will take up challenging research and applications to support accelerated development of the NE region. He wished NESAC Staff a happy and prosperous Independence Day to conclude his speech. A demonstration of CISF Weapons Drill was made by the CISF unit as part of the Independence Day celebration. The program was concluded with distribution of sweets to the participating staff followed by a symbolic march, the ‘Tiranga Yatra’.
