In order to create awareness on the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, an orientation programme was organized on 11.02.2019 at NESAC for all its employees including CISF, Research Scholars, Outsourced workers and Home guard volunteers in collaboration with North East Network (NEN). North East Network (NEN) is a women’s rights organisation based at Shillong working on addressing gender issues through dialogue and dissemination. Shri P L N Raju, Director, NESAC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Around 128 participants attended the programme which was conducted in two sessions.
