“One Day Free Eye Check Up Camp” was organized by NESAC, in association with Bansara Eye Care Centre, Laitumkhrah, Shillong on 12th July 2019 at Community Hall, NESAC Residential Complex .The programme was inaugurated by Shri P L N Raju, Director NESAC, In his inaugural address he mentioned that the Eye Camp has been conducted on demand from the staff and the people of the nearby localities. Residents of Nongsder & Umiam village had also participated in the Eye Camp. He further informed that last year in collaboration with North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homeopathy, Ministry of Ayush Shillong, a free Health camp was organized. A team of doctors and staff from Bansara Hospital led by Doctor Wakaru Shullai (Eye Specialist), conducted the Eye Camp. The response to the Eye camp was overwhelming and a total of 158 people were benefited from the eye camp.
