World Hindi Day & World Hindi week were celebrated on 10th January 2022 and during 10th – 17th January, 2022 at NESAC to promote Official Language Hindi in official work among the staff of NESAC. The inauguration of the week-long celebration was marked by lighting of lamp by Dr. S.P. Aggarwal, Director, NESAC. Continuing in same sequence, Shri Kumar Anand, Administrative Officer, NESAC, while highlighting the importance of the ceremony, read the message of Honorable Prime Minister for the occasion. After this, Smt.Namta Rani Pal Mitra, Junior Translation Officer, gave detailed Information regarding Vishwa Hindi Divas(World Hindi Day) and also about the events and competitions to be organized at NESAC.
Accordingly, various competitions were organized in online mode during 11th – 14th January 2022, such as-Drawing competition, Hindi poetry recitation competition and creative writing competition. Staff of NESAC participated in these competitions with full enthusiasm.
The closing ceremony was organized in online mode with virtual presence of staff of NESAC on January 17, 2021 in which Honorable Dr. S.P. Aggrawal, Director, NESAC thanked everyone for successfully organizing the World Hindi Week. He guided everyone with his inspirational address and made request to all to maximum use of official language Hindi for official work. Then Smt. Namta Rani Pal Mitra, Jr. Translation Officer, NESAC announced the names of winners of various competitions. While congratulating all the winners, Director, NESAC also encouraged the participants.With a vote of thanks by Smt. Namta Rani Pal Mitra, the ceremony came to a close.
